Marne Valley Carping Booking Terms & Conditions

1 - On receipt of your completed online booking form and deposit or 1st instalment payment, your holiday will be reserved for you and your party on accepted as confirmed.

2 - A non-refundable deposit of either 25% or 50% of the value of your booking must accompany your completed online booking. 

3 - The balance is required no later than 3 months before your booking date. If a booking is placed 12 weeks prior to your arrival date the total cost of your holiday must be paid in full. 

4 - If full payment is not received 12 weeks prior to the arrival date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and all payments may not be refunded and a cancellation fee will be incurred. 

5 - If you cancel your confirmed booking, it will only be accepted by the Group Organiser/Lead Booker and the following charges will apply:
i) Cancellation 12 weeks or more before travel date = deposit or 2 instalment payments made to date of cancellation will be non-refundable. This value is always equivalent to 50% of the total value of your reservation.
ii) Cancellation less than 12 weeks before travel date cancellation fee = the total cost of the holiday will be non-refundable. 

6 - All travel arrangements and requirements are your responsibility and we accept no responsibility for delays or cancellations in ferries/ flights or, if there are irregularities in your documents. 

7 - Force Majeure: We will not be held liable for loss or delay occasioned by any of the following: Strikes, Political Unrest, Riots, Port Closures, War or Threat of, Terrorist Activity, Industrial Disputes, Fire, Flood, Technical/Weather problems to transportation, Acts of God or any other event(s) beyond our control. 

8 - If any changes to the confirmed booking are required, we will try and be flexible wherever possible. 

9 - All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

10 - All anglers must leave their swims by 10.00am unless otherwise agreed. 

11 - Jurisdiction: Acceptance of these Booking Terms& Condition on submission of the online booking form constitutes acceptance of a contract on these terms subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Court to the whole group. The Group Organiser/Lead Booker also accepts these Booking Terms& Condition on submission on behalf of each angler/guest included on their booking so constitutes acceptance of a contract based on these terms and conditions. 

12 - We reserve the right to terminate your vacation if you are in any way causing a disturbance or harm to other anglers, other people, grounds, lakes or property. You will not be liable to a refund / compensation and you may incur costs for any damage carried out. 

13 - The Group Organiser/Lead Booker submitting the online booking form is responsible for making sure all members of the party have read and accepted these Booking Terms & Conditions and lake rules.

14 - We accept no liability for loss/damage of belongings or injury/accident whilst visiting the lake so please ensure you are properly insured. 

15 - Everybody who visits the lake accepts that they may appear in articles or advertising, by text and photograph. 

16 - During periods of high water levels the winter swims will be the designated fishing areas.
